I encountered a beautiful box of handmade artisanal chocolates in the shape of mice with colorful tails, and a little birdie suggested they may look good around a piece of glass. I loved the idea, so I had some fun.
I call this one "Taking Turns for a Toke." Originally, I wanted to use the bubbler because I liked that it had both the blue and oranges that show up in the tail colors, but because it was so tall it kind of looked weird. I substituted the orange pipe, and then even switched out the background from grey to fuchsia to experiment with some bold color - inspired by Sagmeister & Walsh's latest work. I think it makes the image more exciting and ended up really liking it. I've chosen not to feature it on my cannabis photography page because of the way the tails ended up laying out...for whatever reason, they bother me. But I wanted to share them with you, anyway! I'd love to hear what you think! :)
