The food we eat can either be medicine or poison, and it can be a challenge to eat well in a world that doesn't prioritize whole health.
Cannabis can be an ally in healthy eating, as it enhances our ability to taste and enjoy food, and it can increase appetite, reduce nausea, and be a friendly reminder that it’s time to step away from the desk and sit down at the table. Try any of our recipes, which are all delicious and nourishing, whether cannabis is one of the ingredients or not!

Cannabis is a vegetable and nutrient that supports our endocannabinoid system.
One of the best ways to incorporate cannabis (hemp or marijuana) into your life is to eat it raw, as the leaves, seeds and flower of this veggie are incredibly nutritious. They’re loaded with the perfect ratio of omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids and are packed with antioxidants and protein, as well as those cannabinoids that support your endocannabinoid system.
Cannabinoids are a nutrient like any other, and it is possible to be deficient in them.
If you’re deficient in potassium, your doctor will tell you to eat more bananas. If you’re deficient in cannabinoids, consume more cannabis.
Cannabis can be embedded into almost any dish - and you can do it legally and without getting high.
Incorporating hemp seed or oil into your recipes is a completely legal and delicious way to reap the benefits cannabis has to offer. If you live in an area with access to medicinal cannabis, you can also use ingredients infused with CBD or THC products (such as the amazing Highland Pantry almond butter) or, as stated above, use the plant raw. You can juice it, add it to smoothies, mix it into salads, or add it to dishes the way you would with any other herb. There aren't any psychoactive effects from eating raw cannabis, but your body will thank you.
