Society6 is a website that allows artists to upload and sell one-offs of their work on everything from apparel to home goods.
To kick off the promotion of these items, I decided I should order some of my own designs to test out and review for all my followers. After all, how can I suggest you go purchase these items without having held them in my own hands first?
Below, I give you honest reviews of three different products that I have personally paid for, used, and reflected on. And if you have ordered anything (thank you!!), I encourage you to leave a comment with your feedback as well!
I spend my summers lounging at my family's dock at the Lake of the Ozarks, so I figured that a new towel would be a good investment. I was also worried about the quality of the illustration and accompanying text when blown up to large sizes, so I wanted to check that out before others ordered.
I was incredibly happy with this purchase; in fact, it's my favorite item so far.
It's insanely soft, absorbent, and the graphics came out crisply. Now that summer season has died down, I currently have it slung over my couch like a throw, and frequently wrap up in it when I venture outside to smoke my evening mullein joint.
While this design is still relatively discreet, I am able to use it backwards without any worry of drawing attention if I'm in places like the kiddy-swim area of a conservative town. Because, yes, those are still factors I have to consider while living in prohibition-Missouri.
I've always waned to design my own pair of leggings, so when Society6 started offering it as an option, I vowed to one day order leggings with my own design on them. Mission accomplished!! It was really fun to see these come to life.
Admittedly, these aren't my favorite pair of leggings. I really love the durable, sporty, spandex material (and of course the design), but the fit isn't quite what I expected. The description had said they could be worn at a high waist level which I was really excited about (all about that high waist these days), but the medium — my standard size — seems to barely be able to contain my curves, let alone be worn high on the waist. I think that I'll try a large size next time I order.
I was over the moon when Lucy Rose ordered a pair of leggings for herself.
Lucy is a yoga teacher who founded Greenlove Denver, a company that combines the elevating properties of cannabis with yoga to achieve a deeper and more beneficial practice. One day I logged onto Instagram, and she had posted a picture of herself in the leggings. A cannabis yoga teacher was wearing my design?? It made my day — pfft, it made my whole week, if not month!! Here's what she had to say about the leggings themselves:
"Love the modern sleek depiction of the cannabis leaf - such a unique design unlike anything else on the market! The leggings are tight and thick enough for a yoga class, but comfortable enough to wear anywhere." —Lucy Rose, Greenlove Denver

What girl doesn't need a cute zipper pouch every once in a while? This one is made of a durable but soft material so that it holds its shape but isn't damaged by its contents; perfect for getting thrown in a bag or suitcase while traveling.
Oh, and it has a gold zipper. You guys know how much I love gold.
