Why hemp seeds?
Hemp seeds are an excellent source of protein, minerals, fiber, and omega-3 fatty acids. Why are these important?
Omega 3 fatty acids: reduce inflammation, lower cholesterol and blood pressure, help with memory and cognition
Protein: your body uses protein to build bones, muscles, cartilage, skin and blood
Minerals: Magnesium and phosphorus support bones, iron helps deliver oxygen throughout your body, and zinc supports the immune system.
Fiber: helps prevent constipation, helps you feel more full
It's easy to add hemp seeds into your diet.
It only takes a few tablespoons to reap the health benefits of hemp. You can add a little here and there throughout your day to smoothies, oatmeal, cereal, salads, baked goods, pesto and more. There are also other hemp products outside of seeds, such as hemp oil or milk.

- 1/2 c. blackberries
- 1 large, ripe peach
- 1/4 c. coconut milk
