Last month, I applied for a freelancing position with Doobster, a cannabis delivery app. I hadn't heard anything for a while, so I assumed I hadn't been considered for the position. Then, I got a request for a trial piece (in graphic design, clients often ask you to do a "trial run" since personality has so much to do with if you're a good fit for a position). It was a challenge, since I don't usually a corporate-design style - but I was determined to make something attractive that suited their brand. I designed this 2.75x5" flyer to go in exit bags at dispensaries to help increase brand awareness. Since then, I've created a few other pieces as well (see below).
It's been a lot of fun designing for Doobster - and a totally different experience from other things I've done! With Doobster, I'm given very specific guidelines and desires - which is different from my usual client who wants creative help and consultations; this is more of what the assignments my professors were assigning back in college were preparing me for.
Looking forward to sharing more projects with you as they come up! Stay tuned!
