My parents still have the two yorkipoos we got when I was in high school; a mix of yorkshire terrier and miniature poodle, about 11 and 12 pounds each (although I think my dad's fattened them up since that last weigh-in). Bailey was exposed to them from about day three on, so she knows the little dogs well.
That said, Tebow, the 107+ lb doberman, is quite an intriguing sight for little Bailey. She goes back and forth between being too shy to get close to him, to fearlessly sticking her entire hand into his panting mouth. Either way, though, he makes her giggle like crazy; she thinks he is hilarious.
One of the first times Bailey met Tebow, Tanner shook his ear - a treat Tebow loves. Since then, Bailey always wants to shake Tebow's ears - and my parents' yorkipoos, too! I was thoroughly impressed that she knew the yorkipoos and Tebow were both of the same species. Neither the puppies nor Tebow are quite sure what to think of her yet...but she seems to be growing on them as she's able to give them more love and attention.
Round 1: Talking to Tebow
(A classic case of not getting too close)
My favorite part of this photo strip is Tebow staring at me like "What the hell is she doing?"
Round 2: Ear Shakes
(I guess she decided it was safe to touch him)
